Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply when you use the Fort Walton Beach Spray Foam Insulation website or hire us for insulation work. By using the site, asking for an estimate or booking a job, you agree to them, so please read them before you do.

If you don't agree with something here, please don't use the site or book work with us. You can always call us at (850) 357-6549 to talk it through first.

What we do

We're an insulation contractor in Fort Walton Beach, FL, and we work in the cities around it. Our work includes spray foam, blown-in insulation, attic and crawl space insulation, insulation removal, air sealing and vapor barriers for homes and commercial buildings. You can read more about our crew on our About page and see the full list of services from our home page.

What's on this website is general information about insulation and our services. It isn't a promise about your house, because every attic and crawl space is different, and we only know what your job needs once we've looked at it.

Estimates and pricing

Estimates are free and done at your property, and there's no pressure to book. An estimate is based on what we can see and reach on the day, such as how much insulation is already up there, how easy the attic or crawl space is to get into and what material you choose.

If we open the job and find something the estimate didn't cover, like old insulation that's wet or full of droppings, we'll stop, show you what we found and agree on any change in price with you before we do the extra work. We don't add charges you haven't approved.

An estimate is good for the period written on it. After that, material and labor costs can change, so we may need to update it before we schedule.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We'll set a work date with you once you approve the estimate. Weather, material supply and what we find on other jobs can move a date, and if that happens we'll tell you as early as we can and offer the next open day.

On the work day, we need clear access to the work area and a path to it, so please move stored items out of the way and keep kids and pets clear while we work. When a job involves spray foam, you'll need to stay out of the house until the re-entry time, the period the foam maker sets before people and pets can come back inside, and we'll tell you that time before we start.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call or reach us through our Contact page as soon as you know. If we've already ordered special material or turned other work away for your date, we may ask you to cover those costs, and we'll tell you about any such charge when you book.

Payment

Payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance is due, are written on your estimate or agreement. Unless that paper says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished and we've walked the job with you.

If a payment is late, we may pause any remaining work until it's settled. You're responsible for reasonable costs we have to pay to collect an unpaid balance, as Florida law allows.

Our guarantee and warranty limits

We're licensed and insured, and our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something about the work we did isn't right, call us and we'll come back to look at it and make it right.

Insulation materials carry their makers' own warranties, and those makers set the terms, not us. Beyond our satisfaction guarantee and the makers' warranties, we don't promise any particular result, such as a set drop in your power bill or a set temperature upstairs, because those also depend on your cooling system, ductwork, windows and how the house is used.

Our guarantee doesn't cover damage from things outside our work, like roof leaks, plumbing leaks, pests, storms or changes someone else makes to the insulation after we leave.

Limits on our liability

To the extent Florida law allows, our responsibility for any claim about our work is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We aren't responsible for indirect losses, such as lost income or the cost of staying elsewhere, unless the law says we have to be.

We aren't responsible for problems that were in the house before we started and that we couldn't reasonably see, though we'll tell you about anything we notice while we're there. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Using this website

You can use this site to learn about our work and to contact us. Please don't copy its content for commercial use or try to interfere with how it runs.

Links to other websites are there for your convenience, and we don't control what those sites say or how they handle your information.

Settling a disagreement

If you're unhappy with anything, call us first, because most problems get fixed fastest when we can come out and look at them together. We'll work with you in good faith to find a fair answer.

If we can't settle it between us, either side may take the matter to a court with jurisdiction in Okaloosa County, Florida, or use any other method we both agree to in writing.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version on this page is the current one. The terms that applied when you signed your estimate or agreement are the ones that cover that job.
